Government Degree College Neeli Nallah, Udhampur, under the aegis of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, organised Poster Making and Slogan Writing Competition Day on "World Cancer Day" on 4th Feb.2022. the prgramme was organised under the able guidance of worthy Principal, Dr. Satinder Kaur. the theme of the competitionb was "Close the Care Gap". Dr. Satinder Kaur, Principal, stressed that the motive of the event was to prevent deaths of the persons dealing with cancer because if not detected at right time, can increase the risk of death and also supporting those living with cancer without any stigma. The Posters and Slogans were adjudged by Dr. Radha Rani and Prof. Shaista yasmeen. In the competition, Sakshi Devi, Sem III GDC Neeli Nallah Secured 1st position, Rahul Abrol, Sem III GDC Katra secured second position and Tayoub Ul Sadeeq secured third position. Prof. Swati Dutt was the convener of the programme. The organisers of the event were Dr. Radha Rani and Prof. Shaista Yasmeen.
