Two Day Camp On Importance Of Bharat Scouts And Guides In Career Development

Scouts and guides Cell, GDC Neeli Nallah Udhampur, organised two day Camp on the theme
“Importance of scouts and guides in career Development” from Jan 30 to Jan 31, 2024. The
programme was organised under the able guidance of Prof. Hans Raj, Principal of the College. The
event was started with a welcome note by Prof. Shaista Yasmeen, Incharge Scouts and Guides.
Speaking on the occasion Principal of the college advised the students to join Bharat scouts and
guides so that they become self independent in their life. Mrs. Veena Sharma, speaker of the event,
initiated her lecture, with a detailed introduction of the theme Pravesh and Pratham Training for
scouts and guides. On Day 1 st , she made them learn Bharat and scouts Prayer “Daya Kar Gyan
Vidhya ka” and also aware them with Bharat and scouts Jhanda Geet. Fundamental History of the
movement was also dictated. On Day 2 nd , she delivered a detail lecture on the services which
Rovers and Rangers give to the society and also shared the information about Uniform, Different
types of Flag and Patrol system of Bharat and scouts movement. During the whole camp students
completed Nipun training.
The students participated with enthusiasm and got awareness about scouts and guides. Principal of
the college also congratulated the organising committee for organising such important
programmes.Prof. Shaista Yasmeen was the convenor of the programme. Dr. Maansi Sharma, Dr.
Sunil Tanoch, Prof. Rekha Sharma, Dr. Akhter Hussain, Dr. Zahoor Mir, Dr. Mahima Bhagat, Dr.
Muntazir and Mr. Pradeep Kumar were the members of organising committee.
