Essay Writing Competition On “Environmental Sustainability” Under Viksit Bharat @2047

GDC Neeli Nallah Udhampur organized Essay Writing Competition on theme of
"Environmental Sustainability" under Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra @2047 under the able
guidance of Prof. Hans Raj, Principal of the college. The programme started with key note
address by the principal of the college. A number of students took part in the essay
writing competition with zeal and enthusiasm. Principal of the college asserted that such
type of awareness program will create awareness among students regarding such
burning issues. In Viksit Bharat, India has 25 years to leverage the demographic dividend.
So, we must put all the resources to ensure that India will be a developed nation by 2047,
when it celebrates 100 years of independence. Rimjim Sharma got 1 st Position, Himanshi
Sharma got 2 nd Position and Suhani Rajput got 3 rd Position and were awarded with
certificates.
The convenor of the programme was Dr. Sunil Tanoch. The members of organizing
committee were Prof. Rekha Sharma, Prof. Shaista Yasmeen, Dr. Akhter Hussain, Dr.
Zahoor Ahmad Mir, Dr.Mahima Bhagat, and Miss Swati Sharma.
