GDC Neeli Nallah Udhampur Organizes PLEDGE On Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra

GDC Neeli Nallah Udhampur organized PLEDGE on Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra under the esteemed guidance of Prof. Hans Raj, Principal of the college. The programme started with key note address by the Principal of the college. A large number of students took part in the PLEDGE with zeal and enthusiasm. Principal of the college asserted that such type of awareness program will create awareness among students regarding such burning iissues. In Viksit Bharat India has 25 years to leverage the demographic dividend. So, we must put all the resources to ensure that India becomes a developed nation by 2047, when it celebrates 100 years of independence.
Principal of the college share his views and said Viksit Bharat not only grants equality to women but also empowers the State to adopt measures of positive discrimination in favour of women for neutralizing the cumulative socio economic, education and political disadvantages faced by them. The State not to discriminate against any citizen on grounds only of religion, race, caste, sex, place of birth .
The convenor of the programme was Dr. Sunil Tanoch . The members of organizing committee were Prof.Shaista Yasmeen, Dr. Akhter Hussain, Dr. Zahoor Ahmad Mir, Dr.Mahima Bhagat, and Mr.Pradeep kumar .
